Arc overview

Arc on Supanode — a dedicated single-tenant node on Circle's stablecoin Layer 1 today, with shared RPC, WebSocket and a decoded-history indexer in build.

// updated 2026-09-09

Arc is Circle's Layer 1 for stablecoin finance: EVM-compatible, with gas paid in USDC rather than a separate volatile token. Your existing Ethereum tooling works - what changes is the unit the fees come out of.

NOTE

One product today: the dedicated node. We deploy it to order, usually within 48 hours. Shared RPC with WebSocket and the decoded-history indexer are in build.

What you get today

  • Dedicated node - full or archive, private RPC and WebSocket, no rate limits, in the region and on the hardware you pick. Quoted per deployment.

What is in build

  • RPC & WebSocket - a shared tier with published caps.
  • Historical Data - decoded Arc history as ClickHouse SQL. Stablecoin flow is the obvious first dataset on a chain built for it.

The chain itself

TypeLayer 1 for stablecoin finance, built by Circle
Chain ID5042 mainnet · 5042002 testnet
Gas tokenUSDC - 18 decimals as native gas, 6 as ERC-20
ExecutionReth - EVM-compatible
ConsensusMalachite BFT, ~0.5 s blocks, deterministic finality
MempoolNot publicly observable

Sources: Circle, Chainstack.

WARNING

The mempool is not publicly observable. Strategies that depend on watching pending transactions elsewhere do not port to Arc as they are - plan around confirmed state and the ~0.5 s deterministic finality instead.
