How much does Arc RPC cost?
Shared Arc RPC is in build and has no price yet. A dedicated single-tenant Arc node is a different matter: we deploy it to order, usually within 48 hours, quoted per deployment. Billing is crypto-only and prepaid.
Do I need archive access on Arc?
More often than on other chains. Blocks land roughly every half second, so the standard recent-block window covers about a minute instead of the twenty-five you would get on Ethereum — in practice almost any historical query is an archive query.
Why is gas paid in USDC on Arc?
Arc is Circle's Layer 1 for stablecoin finance, so the fee and the payment are the same unit. Watch the decimals: USDC behaves as 18-decimal native gas and as a 6-decimal ERC-20, a difference of 10^12 and the most common integration bug on the chain.
Is there a free trial?
On a dedicated Arc node, yes — up to 24 hours once it is deployed, no card. Shared Arc RPC is in build, so there is nothing shared to try yet.
