Start on Robinhood Chain testnet without mixing networks

Keep chain identity, test funds, deployments and endpoints in one explicit configuration.

Testnet is a separate environment

Robinhood Chain publishes a public testnet for development. Its test tokens have no production value, and a contract deployed there is separate from a mainnet contract. Supanode's production RPC documentation and a public testnet endpoint should not be treated as the same service.

Verify the configuration

SettingMainnetTestnet
Chain ID4663 / 0x123746630 / 0xb626
Native gas currencyETHTest ETH
Public RPChttps://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.comhttps://rpc.testnet.chain.robinhood.com
Explorerrobinhoodchain.blockscout.comexplorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com

These values come from Robinhood's connection documentation, checked on 21 October 2026. Public endpoints are rate-limited; use them as development infrastructure with the documented constraints.

Run a read-only check

curl https://rpc.testnet.chain.robinhood.com \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_chainId","params":[]}'

The expected chain result is 0xb626. Read the faucet linked by the official documentation for test ETH. Eligibility and cooldowns are faucet-specific, so do not bake an unverified allocation into an onboarding flow.

Promote deliberately

  1. Keep a dedicated test wallet with no production funds.
  2. Deploy and test a small contract, then save its address and compiler settings.
  3. Prepare a separate mainnet configuration and verify eth_chainId again.
  4. Redeploy intentionally and update contract addresses, explorer links and monitoring together.
