Solana isBlockhashValid RPC Method

Returns whether a blockhash is still valid or not

This method is only available in solana-core v1.9 or newer. Please use getFeeCalculatorForBlockhash for solana-core v1.8 and below.

Parameters#

stringrequired

the blockhash of the block to evaluate, as base-58 encoded string

objectoptional

Configuration object containing the following fields:

commitmentstringoptional

The commitment describes how finalized a block is at that point in time.

minContextSlotnumberoptional

The minimum slot that the request can be evaluated at.

Result#

<bool> - true if the blockhash is still valid
