YELLOWSTONE / DATA PATHFRA

Solana validator updates

**Your server-side filters**Accounts · programs · transaction rules

Your bot / indexer / analytics service

Protobuf messages over a persistent gRPC stream.
Choose processed, confirmed or finalized commitment.

## Follow state as it changes.

Stream the accounts, transactions and slots your application watches. Filter live Solana data on the server and consume it through the standard Yellowstone interface.

For trading infrastructure, indexers and monitoring systems that continuously watch on-chain activity. Keep RPC alongside the stream for on-demand reads and transaction submission.

### Continuous observation

Watch pool accounts, wallet activity or program transactions without repeatedly polling for updates.

### Choose a lighter interface

For occasional queries, use [RPC](https://supanode.xyz/services/solana/rpc). For lightweight browser subscriptions, consider [WebSocket](https://supanode.xyz/services/solana/websocket). For decoded history in SQL, use the [Indexer](https://supanode.xyz/services/solana/indexer).

## Send a filter. Receive matching updates.

Use the Yellowstone protobuf schema and Subscribe API. A new SubscribeRequest replaces the previous request on that subscription. Filter updates are capped at 30 per minute on shared tiers.

request.ts · illustrative fragmentCopy

```
// Part of a SubscribeRequest.
// Replace with your program address.
transactions: {
  watchedProgram: {
    vote: false,
    failed: false,
    accountInclude: [
      "YOUR_PROGRAM_ID"
    ],
    accountExclude: [],
    accountRequired: []
  }
}
```

Illustrative fragment. See the full examples for client setup and request types.

### Two kinds of limits

**One TCP connection**

Subscribe stream

Named filter

Account / owner addresses

Your plan counts active Subscribe streams and watched addresses across all TCP connections.

[Full client examples →](https://supanode.xyz/docs/solana/grpc/examples)

Scroll horizontally to compare all columns →

| Same on every shared tier | Cap |
| --- | --- |
| Addresses per filter | 2,000 |
| Filters per subscription | 10 |
| Addresses per subscription | 20,000 maximum from the two caps above |
| SubscribeRequest size | Under 4 MiB |

Example: GROW has a 24,000-address total budget. Split it into 12 filters: 10 filters in one subscription, 2 in another. Putting all 24,000 in a single filter exceeds the 2,000-address node cap.

`InvalidArgument` usually means reshape the filter. `ResourceExhausted` can mean a plan quota was reached. The subscription-count error may say “connections” even though it counts Subscribe streams.

## Streams and filter restrictions.

| Stream | What arrives | Useful for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `accounts` | Account state updates, filterable by account and owner | Pool state and wallet monitoring |
| `transactions` | Transactions matching your filters | Program activity and strategy inputs |
| `transactions_status` | Status without the full transaction payload | Transaction status monitoring |
| `slots` | Slot updates | Slot tracking |
| `blocks` | Blocks with transactions, filtered by account. Unfiltered mode requires PROFESSIONAL and activation. | Block processing and indexing |
| `blocks_meta` | Block metadata only, without transactions | Block tracking without transaction payloads |
| `entry` | Entry-level updates | Specialized data pipelines |

### Check your filters before choosing.

Shared tiers reject some broad program filters to protect shared capacity. The restriction depends on the field you use.

Both filter rules are shown for each program below.

| Program | accounts.owner | transactions.account\_include |
| --- | --- | --- |
| System Program | Blocked | Blocked |
| Compute Budget | Blocked | Blocked |
| Associated Token Account | Blocked | Blocked |
| Token Program | Blocked | Allowed |
| Token-2022 | Allowed | Allowed |

You can name specific accounts in `accounts.account` within your address quota. For a blocked program, discuss your program and expected volume with [support](https://telegram.me/supanode_tgs); access may require an account adjustment or a [Dedicated Node](https://supanode.xyz/services/solana/dedicated-node).

Solana gRPC provides a 100-slot replay window and standard Yellowstone filters. Full blocks with an empty account filter require PROFESSIONAL and activation. RPC provides two days of replay; the Indexer has separate SQL history coverage.

### Bundle capacity by tier.

FOCUS, BUILD, GROW and PROFESSIONAL include RPC, WebSocket and gRPC. STARTER includes RPC and WebSocket.

Scroll horizontally to compare all columns →

| Per 30-day period | FOCUS | BUILD | GROW | PROFESSIONAL |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Concurrent subscriptions | 1 | 10 | 20 | 50 |
| Total watched addresses | 100 | 5,000 | 24,000 | 100,000 |

### Need the whole block?

PROFESSIONAL includes the blocks stream with an empty account\_include filter. Full-block streaming is part of the Bundle and carries high bandwidth.

\*Full-block mode is included with PROFESSIONAL. Contact Telegram support to activate it on your endpoint.

## Connect your first stream.

1. ### Sign in and choose FOCUS or higher

    Ask our team for a free trial up to 24 hours; availability and setup are confirmed for your workload. No credit card required. Paid Bundles start in the portal with a Solana wallet.

2.  ### Save your token

    The portal shows the token once. Store it safely. Within this Bundle it authenticates RPC, WebSocket and gRPC.

3.  ### Connect to Frankfurt

    Use fra.sol.supanode.xyz:10010 and your token in x-token. Follow the Docs for client transport and authentication settings. Subscribe with filters that fit your tier.

4.  ### Validate, then buy 30 days

    Check your data and quota needs during the trial. Purchase a 30-day Bundle in the portal. For PROFESSIONAL full blocks, ask support to activate the mode.

## Before you connect.

### Can I reuse an existing Yellowstone client?

Supanode uses the standard Yellowstone protobuf and Subscribe API. Configure your client with the Supanode endpoint and token. Check SDK request types and transport options in the examples before connecting.

### How is gRPC usage limited?

Delivered stream data has no per-volume charge. Your tier still caps concurrent subscriptions, total watched addresses and owner programs. Node filter caps and the filter update limit apply on shared tiers.

### Do gRPC data messages consume RPC request capacity?

The shared RPS budget covers RPC calls, WebSocket subscribe/unsubscribe operations and gRPC SubscribeRequest updates. Delivered gRPC data throughput is unmetered. See the pricing limits for method weights and budgets.

### Which commitment should I use?

Choose processed for the earliest available state while handling possible reversions. Confirmed and finalized offer later commitment levels. Choose the commitment level that matches your application's consistency needs.

### Can I replay missed history?

Solana gRPC provides replay over 100 slots. Solana RPC provides two days of replay. Use the Indexer for decoded SQL history, with coverage and retention defined per table. Confirm your recovery workflow and endpoint setup with the team.

### Where is gRPC available?

The shared endpoint is served from Frankfurt only. If your workload needs another region, discuss a Dedicated Node deployment.

### What happens when my trial expires?

Trial access ends at the agreed time. Purchase a paid Bundle in the portal to continue, and keep reconnect and error handling in your application.
