## Choose a tier for the feed you need

QuickNode offers general RPC plans and Solana gRPC access tied to eligible plans or an add-on. Supanode Bundles include gRPC from FOCUS upward. Compare the streaming tier and its limits, then add the RPC workload. A low RPC entry price alone does not describe the cost of a live Yellowstone consumer.

## What the Supanode plans include

STARTER is $40 per 30 days for RPC and WebSocket. Mainnet gRPC begins with FOCUS at $99 per 30 days: 25 RPC requests/s, 10 transactions/s, one gRPC subscription and up to 100 watched addresses. BUILD is $159 per 30 days with 200 RPC requests/s, 30 transactions/s, 10 gRPC subscriptions and 5,000 watched addresses in total. Owner/program filter limits also apply.

Supanode gRPC replay covers 100 slots. RPC replay covers two days. These are separate interfaces and windows; neither is a promise of arbitrary historical access. A higher plan buys stated capacity. It does not establish a latency advantage.

## Read the plan-specific streaming terms

QuickNode's product page says gRPC is included on Scale and Business, with a $499/month add-on available on Build and Accelerate. Its headline of up to 25 feeds and 50 accounts per stream describes the shared offering's upper limits; the pricing matrix assigns Scale lower limits. Use the selected tier's values. The pricing page also lists metered gRPC data. The public text checked for this comparison did not establish a clear unit rate or included data allowance for the selected Scale plan. Confirm those terms in the current dashboard or with QuickNode before treating the subscription price as the total streaming cost.

QuickNode documents Yellowstone-compatible streaming. That supports using the same protocol family, but your filters, tokens, endpoint settings and client version still need testing. Supanode's 100-slot gRPC replay must fit your recovery plan; confirm the selected QuickNode endpoint's replay window rather than assuming the same retention. ## Budget the whole application

For a small RPC-only application, test both RPC options before buying a streaming tier. For a gRPC consumer, record concurrent subscriptions, accounts per stream, program filters and stream bytes. Keep ordinary reads and transaction submission in the capacity calculation even if the feed does most of the data collection.

An annual effective price comes with annual billing terms. Compare it to the 30-day Supanode subscription only after deciding whether you want that commitment. There is no measured latency or reliability winner in this comparison.

## Migration checklist

1.  Inventory standard JSON-RPC, QuickNode add-ons, Streams or Webhooks and managed integrations. A gRPC endpoint does not replace a webhook delivery pipeline by itself.
2.  Confirm the exact plan, monthly or annual commitment, gRPC access, data metering, concurrent streams and accounts per stream. Save the terms used for the decision.
3.  Pin the Yellowstone client and test authentication, program/account filters and commitment levels against the destination docs. Split subscriptions only when destination quotas permit it.
4.  Rehearse restart, replay and deduplication. Persist the last safely processed slot and keep a separate backfill path for longer gaps.
5.  Shift a small read cohort, inspect completeness, slot lag, errors and billed usage, then expand with a working rollback endpoint.
